Paladin is now LHH Recruitment Solutions! We are working with our Tacoma, WA wood manufacturing client to recruit a Regional Sales Representative to join their team on a permanent basis. This is primarily and outside sales role with frequent travel around the Puget Sound Region, but there will also be time spent in the local office. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your knowledge of the the wood and lumber space to sell doors, cabinets and millwork products to contractors and similar building businesses in this larger Seattle/Tacoma area. While this is a sales role, you are walking into a well-established book of business and a client list with existing opportunity! Most of this work is assuming and growing existing relationships, so you will spend much of the time traveling to job sites, taking measurements and job specs, consulting client stakeholders and making strategic recommendations. You'll head back to HQ most days to partner with cross-functional teams to process and track orders, maintain detailed client data, and communicate needs and strategy to leaders. To be a fit, you should bring 2+ years of sales, account management or similar experience in a relevant space. Specific millworks, cabinetry or door sales experience is highly preferred.


This is a permanent role, with compensation including base salary and commissions, and total first year OTE is estimated in the $130K+ range, depending on experience and industry knowledge. Base salary range starts at $78,000 annually, with the opportunity for growth. This is an outside sales role and much of the day will be spent in the field in the Puget Sound area, but time in the office is crucial. This team will provide a company vehicle or car allowance to make field travel simple.


You will:

  • Leverage sales experience and industry knowledge to sell doors, millworks and cabinetry to existing clients or interested prospective customers
  • Spend time in the field, visiting clients, providing product information, taking measurements and job specs, crafting plans, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional office staff to submit plans, track order progress and maintain detailed knowledge of project status
  • Maintain detailed job and client files in the company's CRM
  • Facilitate consistent, clear communication with customers that drives growth and client satisfaction


Your experience should include:

  • 2+ years of sales, account management or similar relevant experience
  • Experience in the wood, millworks, lumber, cabinetry, doors or similar spaces, highly preferred; Expertise in the industry may qualify those who come from other types of work experience
  • Experience in an outside or field sales role traveling to job sites, preferred
  • CRM and Excel knowledge
  • Financial and growth motivation
