LHH is partnering with a Hesperia area client who is seeking a Division Manager. The main responsibility of this role is managing multiple teamsDrivers, Shop Supervisors and Customer Service Manager, while promoting a safe and collaborative workplace culture.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in Transportation operations management. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing a team of 100+ employees.
Duties
- Accountable for creating a collaborative work environment.
- Plans and assigns responsibilities to Operations and Customer Service leads and team members.
- Responsible for ensuring the safety, productivity, and quality of the division and company vehicles.
- Supervises administrative expenses and oversees all functional areas.
Training and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in a managerial position related to transportation, operations, customer service, and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent experience is required.
- Prior experience in transportation, waste management, or recycling is desirable.
- Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
- A valid California Driver’s License is a must-have.
