Job Summary Overview:

The Business Development Manager responsibilities include growing the company's revenue by ensuring that key clients are maintained and satisfied with the services provided. They must identify new opportunities to cross-sell additional services, attend meetings, trade shows, golf tournaments and any additional industry networking events.

Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

• Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients
• Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
• Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
• Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
• Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
• Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to direct reports and executives using KPI
• Attends Tradeshows and Promotional Events on a regular basis
• Provides efficient, diplomatic, and professional, customer service

Position Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

• Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
• Over 2 years Sales/Marketing Experience/Customer Service Experience
• Experience in the Abatement Industry, Insurance and or Restoration is a plus
• Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
• Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills
• Impeccable listening, negotiation and presentation abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Requires local travel within assigned region
• Extensive driving may be required
