What You'll Do
As a TPA, you’ll develop and grow your exclusive territory through proactive account management, relationship-building, and sales execution:
Sales Territory Development
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities within veterinary practices, shelters, rescues, and State Farm offices.
- Achieve aggressive sales goals with a focus on maximizing performance and profitability.
Account Management
- Build and maintain relationships with veterinary teams and other accounts to promote Trupanion's services.
- Conduct in-clinic presentations and provide ongoing support to veterinary professionals.
Sales Execution
- Influence decision-makers to prioritize pet insurance discussions using consultative sales approaches.
- Implement and sustain Trupanion programs by appointing and supporting Client Education Coordinators in accounts.
Account Visits
- Maintain a monthly schedule of 120-200 account visits to ensure consistent engagement and support.
Portal Adoption
- Ensure veterinary hospitals implement Trupanion’s Portal for seamless client experiences and direct pay.
Administrative Duties
- Attend weekly team meetings and maintain accurate activity records using CRM tools like Microsoft Dynamics.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau to refine strategies and report on performance.
Event Participation
- Represent Trupanion at local events, conferences, and expos to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
What You'll Need
Sales Experience
- Proven success in sales with strong consultative selling skills and a focus on measurable goals.
- Experience in territory management or account-based sales is highly preferred.

Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain a State Property and Casualty Insurance License.
