Position Overview:
ABB is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives, foster relationships with key customers, and drive business growth in the petrochemical and related industries. This role requires a strong understanding of account management, business development, and market trends, combined with technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a business-related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account sales and/or business development, with a preference for the petrochemical industry.
- Proven leadership experience in sales, engineering, or operational projects.
- Strong expertise in strategic and operational planning.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, with Salesforce experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication, influencing, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs, market dynamics, and industry trends.
Preferred Background:
- Experience with major players such as Emerson, Siemens, Yokogawa, Halliburton, Chart Process Licensor for LNG plants, Eaton, and Baker Hughes.
- Knowledge of national oil well systems and hardware experience is an advantage.
