Job Overview:
As a Business Development Specialist , you will play a key role in supporting the firm's principals in pursuing aquatic projects by building strong relationships with clients and partners. You will develop and deliver customized proposals and presentations, ensuring that the firm's relationship-driven approach is effectively implemented in all business development activities. You will oversee the firm's tradeshow program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tradeshow Management & Event Coordination.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager, principals, project managers, and marketing team to develop customized proposals, presentations, and contracts.
- Assist in drafting marketing narratives and materials that communicate the firm's value during pursuit.
- Coordinate and support events such as tradeshows and conferences, including logistical arrangements and marketing material preparation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the business development function and collaborate on implementing changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM software and other sales enablement tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Suites (InDesign, Canva).
- Experience with marketing automation platforms is a plus.
- Passion for aquatic activities, whether through swimming, diving, water polo, or related experience.
Work Environment:
- This position is location-neutral, with the flexibility to work remotely.
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
