Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, your mission will be to participate in business growth and strengthen Neoceram's position in North America. SUMMARY
Neoceram is a company with headquarters in Belgium, manufacturing facilities in Italy and India (total of ± 180 persons), and operations in North America. We specialize in the development, manufacturing, and sale of filling solutions to pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, and industrial manufacturers. Our customer base ranges from small to Fortune 500 companies.
Precision filling systems are critical to safely deliver sterile and non-sterile preparations to patients (vaccines, IV bags, syrups, etc.) or consumers (food, cosmetics, detergent, etc.) while ensuring reliability and performance.
Our company is looking for a Sales Engineer to work closely with the Sales Manager to identify and convert new business opportunities. We are looking for a proactive person with a solid application and sales background, eager to actively participate in the development of our company and increase sales volume in a technically challenging environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
The full-time position person will be required to:
- Acquire extensive knowledge of our products and applications.
- Perform prospection work and proactively reach out to potential new Customers.
- Understand our Customer’s working environment and standards.
- Keep up-to-date with new products as well as industry trends.
- Increase our company visibility by implementing marketing actions, as reviewed with the Sales Manager.
- Provide sales progress reports to the Sales Manager.
- Liaise with the Internal Sales department to deliver quotes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The qualifications needed for the job are the following:
- Bachelor in Engineering or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar technical and/or sales position.
- Great understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Additional language (Italian, French, Spanish) is a plus.
