Required Skills & Experience

2-3+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst

2+ years of experience gathering and writing formal requirements, deep understanding of writing formal requirements/user stories

Understanding of the SDLC, and experience being a liaison between a technical team and internal stakeholders

Experience working with Agile Development teams Previous experience facilitating testing for projects they have worked on, functional testing

Experience working for a company with 1000+ employees and has a formalized process Individual who thrives in ambiguity, loves challenges, and is a team player

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with offshore vendors Familiar with Jira, Azure Devops

Experience with Functional Testing: creating test scenarios, and performing initial UAT testing to ensure requirements are met

Understanding/knowledge of APIs and Web Services

Job Description

A client in the Pacific Northwest area is looking for a BSA to join their team! This is a Direct Hire/Permanent Role, that is M-F in normal business hours. This is a hybrid role, where you will be onsite a few days and remote a few days, to start this position will be more on-site. In this position you will be working alongside a Product Owner, and UI Designer, and be a part of a larger team consisting of both Product Owners, UI Designers, and Business Analysts. In this role you will be primarily responsible for gathering and writing formal requirements, user stories, and functional testing. In this role you will be on a team and work with internal stakeholders within this company. The groups you will work with will vary depending on the project, so adaptability is key!

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
