We are seeking a Sales Administrator, preferably with a background in electronic components. Position responsibilities includes the management of the outside and inside sales interface between designated customer accounts, sales channel/partners and selected suppliers to effectively achieve market share and sales / profitability targets. Additionally, this role will provide quote and sales order management support to assist customers and external sales channel/partners in product selection, quote and sales order creation. Strong commercial proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud is required. US Citizen or Permanent Residents only.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaison responsibilities between Reps, Distributors, Sales Managers, as well as WP Warehouse, Finance, Data Processing, and Purchasing Departments.
- Data entry of customer orders, change orders, and sample requests.
- Maintain customer sales orders and weekly customer open order reports and forecasts.
- Set-up new customer accounts including completing file maintenance form, issue of credit application/references, and credit approval follow-up.
- Maintain and reference ongoing customer pricing and quoting.
- Work with all departments to manage customer expedites.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Sales on containment of suspect products.
- Implement price changes as directed.
- Ensure compliance to special customer requests such as labeling, routing, transportation, etc.
- Assist Purchasing in maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Maintain customer commission splits, OEM information, Salesman ID Codes, and MSP.
- Issue of RMA’s, Bill-Backs, Credit Memos and Price Adjustments when needed.
- Work closely with in-house purchasing personnel regarding forecasts and forthcoming sales.
- Assist in the sales qualification of new and existing customers.
- Assist in the cross selling of products to new and existing customers.
- Assist in team building and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years practical sales/order administration experience
- Prior experience with ERP Order Management software applications specifically regarding the creation of customer accounts, quotes and sales orders
- Competence with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Demonstrated proficiency with the entry and maintenance of customer orders and account information.
- Experienced with the creation of RMA’s, Bill-Backs, Credit Memos and Price Adjustments
- Computer proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Sales and customer service, strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail, planning, prioritization & ability to be well organized, flexible and easily multi-task
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and comfortable with problem solving
- Creative with a keen sense of business awareness
Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 annual
