My client, a company that handles leasing and renting trucks, is looking for an experienced Sales Specialist to find new clients, manage existing accounts, track data in Salesforce, and ultimately contribute to truck sales growth.


WILL BE A FULL TIME ROLE ONSITE 5 DAYS A WEEK AT THEIR BRONX NY DEALERSHIP. 50K SALARY WITH UNCAPPED COMMISSION!!


As a Sales Specialist, you will discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate deals, and maintain client satisfaction. They will provide detailed information to clients about the brands diverse range of vehicles and their features. By building strong customer relationships and leveraging your product knowledge, you will play a crucial role in maximizing vehicle sales for the organization.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales pipeline to achieve sales and profitability objectives by effectively managing new and existing accounts.
  • Salesforce
  • Use Salesforce and keep the account database up to date.
  • Create new Salesforce accounts.
  • Provide Salesforce support to the sales team.
  • Enter information on behalf of the sales representatives when needed.
  • Record client interactions in the internal database.
  • Manage Salesforce to maintain a detailed and accurate record.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate client needs.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Provide excellent customer service, developing strong and long-term client relationships.
  • Quickly and accurately handle client inquiries.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and Metropolitan/Mendon Truck Leasing and Rental.
  • Create new accounts/vehicles/contracts in databases (Igloo).
  • Update and maintain a detailed report on all new trucks(vehicles) being built.
  • Prepare appropriate documentation for the sales pipeline.
  • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.


Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Specialist or relevant role
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong negotiation and customer service expertise
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Fast learner with a passion for sales
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and MS Office
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Strong interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills and building rapport with customers
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • A high school diploma is required
  • Experience in the trucking and transportation industry is a plus
