Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Director of Lateral Flow Assay Business Unit, Profit & Loss to lead our Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) Diagnostic division with full P&L accountability. This role requires a seasoned leader with experience in sales, R&D, and product management, responsible for driving profitability, innovation, and market expansion. The Sr. Director will lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, strengthen client relationships, and guide strategic product direction within the diagnostic market.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Ownership : Lead financial management for the LFA diagnostic division, overseeing budgeting, revenue growth, and profitability to meet business goals.
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement long-term strategies across sales, R&D, and product management, aligning product innovation with market demand.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership : Oversee Sales, R&D, and Product Management teams, fostering a cohesive environment to deliver on market and revenue goals.
- Sales Growth : Lead the sales team to drive market share expansion, develop effective sales strategies, and penetrate new markets.
- Client-Centric Solutions : Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring our diagnostic solutions align with customer needs and market trends.
- Product Development & Innovation : Collaborate with R&D to identify new product opportunities, ensuring that products meet regulatory standards and market demands.
- Market Intelligence : Conduct regular competitive and market analysis to inform strategic decisions and maintain a strong competitive edge.
- Operational Efficiency : Continuously improve business processes to optimize team performance and drive efficient operations across departments.
Requirements:
- Experience : 10+ years in a senior leadership role with P&L responsibility in the LFA diagnostic or medical devices industry.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or related fields; advanced degrees or certifications in diagnostics or medical technology are preferred.
- Leadership & Team Development : Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing cross-functional teams in Sales, R&D, and Product Management.
- Strategic & Financial Acumen : Strong analytical skills for financial oversight, market analysis, and strategic planning.
- Communication & Client Engagement : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
