Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Sales Engineer (CMTSE beneficial) to cover Northern Wisconsin. You will work closely with the sales team but must be prepared to work and think independently; manage multiple accounts and projects accurately; have the ability to manage CRM and paperwork properly; and take direction as needed.

• Ideal candidate must reside in Wisconsin
• This role is for a sales engineer to join a successful team handling a territory covering Wisconsin. Role requires a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, high organizational skills, and strong time management. Relationships with our typical partners must be fostered over time via cold calling, personal visits, and email outreach
• A background in metal cutting and machine tool technology or knowledge of technical sales is beneficial
• This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Travel is required
• Base salary + commission

Responsibilities:

• Develop & expand company market share through increased sales in assigned territory
• Maintain contact with past, present, and new customers identifying new opportunities
• Increase brand awareness and support channel partners, machine tool dealers, end-users within the aerospace, automotive, energy, medical, and general manufacturing industries
• Attend trade shows/ trainings/ industry events when applicable

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university, AND/OR 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-4 years in sales with a proven track record AND/OR 1-3 years in machine tools
• Knowledge of basic machine tool construction and operation beneficial
• Knowledge of the selection and application of cutting tools for both turning and milling beneficial
• Solid computer proficiency
• Knowledge of or experience with CRM systems beneficial
• Must communicate clearly in written and oral methods
• Travel with overnight stays may be required
