As we expand into Midtown Manhattan, we’re seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at prospecting, building relationships, and generating new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
About You:
1-3 years of experience in business development, sales development (SDR/BDR), or a similar role, preferably in financial services, SaaS, or private investments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential investors.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrives in a target-driven environment.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and outreach platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io) is a plus.
A passion for learning about private investments and financial markets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to generate new leads and expand Ballard Global’s investor network.
Research and identify high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors who align with our fund offerings.
Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media to schedule meetings for the senior sales team.
Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage campaigns, events, and content for lead generation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outreach activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system.
Stay informed about Ballard Global’s fund offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
Support the sales team in preparing for meetings and follow-up activities.
