As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Representative to lead our sales team and drive growth in these critical segments of:

·      Access Control Systems

·      CCTV / Video Surveillance

·      Low-Voltage Cabling

·      Mass Notification

 

Job Description:

 

We are seeking an experienced Security Sales Representative in the Northern California area to join our team.  The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining customer relationships to achieve sales objectives. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting product or service solutions, and closing sales deals to contribute to the company’s growth.

 

You will be designing and proposing solutions to customers, so you must have a working knowledge of the industry and solutions.

 

To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. You should also be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, organized, and able to build rapport with clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Acquisition and Retention:
  2. Identify potential customers through research, cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
  4. Identify security system upgrades, moves, adds, and change opportunities.
  5. Sales Process Management:
  6. Present, promote, and sell products/services to prospective and existing clients.
  7. Conduct product demonstrations or presentations tailored to customer needs.
  8. Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close deals successfully.
  9. Market Research and Strategy:
  10. Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies.
  11. Provide feedback to the team on customer demands, market conditions, and opportunities.
  12. Goal Achievement:
  13. Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs as set by the company.
  14. Create and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and profitability.
  15. Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the company’s CRM.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports to management on a regular basis.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in Access Control, CCTV/Video Surveillance and Low Voltage Industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Sell and promote all security products and systems, including video surveillance, access control, Intercom, and mass notification.


Working Conditions:

  • Travel may be required for client meetings, conferences, or trade shows.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on client needs.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
  • This role is relatively independent, with limited oversight.

Required:

  • Previous sales experience: Security and Low Voltage preferred.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Background screenings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of IT functionality


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods.
  • Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer.
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

Opportunity Location

Proposed Salary

·      $80,000-200,000*. A base salary of $80,000 – $100,000 plus commission creates potential total earnings of $200,000/year.
