Must Have:

• ASCP or AMT Certification
• MLS or MLT
• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science OR BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science from an accredited college or university WITH at least 1 year of training or experience in specialty in which testing will be performed. - along with having completed an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program or 1 year of documented Clinical Laboratory Training, or experience in the specialty that testing is to be performed. OR associate’s degree in medical technology.

Day to Day:

This position will be working in hematology lab, we are looking for someone comfortable with hematology. They will perform test in cancer clinic, urine dipsticks and hema glucose tests. Consistent work pace, patients about every 15 minutes. Good communication and people skills, as this position is patient/provider facing. Comfortable with hematology and slide reviews.
