Direct Hire Hourly Wage: $22.00-24.50 ($45,760- $50,960)

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Interview: 2 Rounds

1st Round: Virtual Call (20-30 mins)

2nd Round: On-site (1 hour)

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of experience as a TEAP Specialist/Addiction Counselor
• Bachelors degree in psychology or related field
• LADAC Certification (or exceptions for being 1 year away from completing cert)
• Active drivers license
• Ability to transport students to appointments off campus

Job description:

Insight Global's client is looking for a TEAP Specialist/Addiction Counselor to join our clients team. The counselor will support students who have not passed the drug and alcohol test upon entering the program. Key responsibilities include leading assisting the Full-Time TEAP Specialist in leading a 5-6 week program, facilitating group counseling sessions, conducting individual sessions with students, and assisting with exercise classes throughout the program. The role involves close collaboration with Nurses, Mental Health Counselors, and the Multidisciplinary Committee to ensure students receive the necessary support to graduate. Additionally, the position may require transporting students to off-campus appointments as needed. This is a fully on-site role, 1 opening is full time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, and 1 opening is part time working 12 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
