Job Description:

The Director of Nursing, PACE is responsible and accountable for directing professional clinical practice and the clinical care of patients within the Centra PACE model. It is expected that the PACE Director of Nursing leads in a way consistent with Centra Mission and Values. The Director is responsible for safe and quality patient care being delivered in a service-oriented environment and ensures application of the Professional Practice Model.

The Director of Nursing partners with appropriate administrative and physician leadership in the ongoing development of PACE clinical programs and services. This position will support, collaborate, and lead within Centra PACE Service Line Structure to advance quality/safety, service, and financial outcomes.

The Centra PACE mission is to enhance life for older adults with chronic needs by providing care and services from a team of compassionate, qualified professionals. PACE strives to achieve this mission by empowering participants to live in their homes and in the community for as long as it is medically and socially safe.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of experience within nursing, at least 2 years in leadership.

• Currently licensed in the state of Virginia as a Registered Nurse, or to have licensure prior to start date.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing already obtained OR required to be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare, or business.

• PACE experience strongly preferred.
