Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Morning Baker to join our team. This role focuses on preparing our selection of viennoiserie and petit gâteaux with precision and consistency while ensuring a seamless start to our retail operations. It's a fantastic opportunity to enhance your baking expertise and provide outstanding customer service in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Baking & Kitchen Responsibilities:  

• Bake viennoiserie and other pastries to meet our high-quality standards. Set up the petit gâteaux and macaron cases for the retail opening. 
• Assist in fulfilling and packaging pre-orders. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. 
• Follow recipes meticulously to ensure consistent flavor, texture, and presentation.

• Greet customers warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. 
• Operate the POS system to successfully process customer transactions. 
• Collect and relay customer feedback to the A LA FOLIE management team. 
• Stay informed about new products and services to better assist customers.

Qualifications: 

• Strong time management and organizational skills. 
• Experience in food preparation and handling. 
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting throughout shifts. 
• Commitment to following recipes and maintaining consistency.

• Hourly Rate: Competitive and based on experience
