USRBP is seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver capabilities and dashboards that drive enhanced business performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement data models, data flows, and data transformations to support reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and notebooks for data processing and analysis.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate with business and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and data visualization best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Notebook development, Power BI, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization principles.
- Experience with Python and PYSpark a distinct advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
- Knowledge of data warehousing (medallion model) concepts and ETL processes.
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification.
