We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with a particular focus on complex commercial disputes. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of experienced attorneys and partners to deliver exceptional legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Litigation Associate, you will:

1. Handle a variety of complex litigation matters, including commercial disputes, intellectual property litigation, employment litigation, and class action lawsuits.
2. Conduct thorough and detailed depositions, interrogatories, and discovery requests.
3. Represent clients in court proceedings, including pretrial hearings, court trials, and arbitration hearings.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
5. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a variety of litigation matters.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of litigation matters.
7. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
8. Stay updated on current laws, rulings, and industry legal trends to maintain compliance and stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar of Florida and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on complex commercial disputes.
4. Proven experience conducting depositions and managing complex discovery processes.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
9. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
