Title: Financial Advisor (CFP)


Summary:

Our client is seeking talented, experienced, and driven, Financial Advisors (CFP Required) to join their rapidly growing wealth management and tax (RIA) firm in several U.S. locations! Ideal candidates are dedicated to growing a firm while providing a very high level of coordinated advice and service to clients. They are proficient with advanced wealth management techniques in all facets of financial, investment, tax, insurance, retirement, trust, and estate tax planning and advisory. This firm is currently directing the financial lives and managing the assets of hundreds of individuals and businesses and has organically grown to over $6B in AUM through steady referrals from clients and business partners. Their goal is to get to $10B in the next couple of years and to continue opening offices across the country. This firm has a target market of high-net-worth individuals with assets exceeding $3M, and candidates should have 7+ years of experience working directly with high-net-worth individual clients in this asset range, acquired from a wealth management firm or professional financial services company.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $100k - $250k/annually, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new clients while providing a high level of advice and service to existing clients to help them reach their financial goals.
  • Integrate the advice of CFAs, CPAs, and JDs into the client relationship.
  • Work directly with high-net-worth individual clients with assets exceeding $3M, advising on financial, investment, tax, insurance, retirement, trust, and estate planning to meet their long-term investment and financial goals with a strong emphasis on tax reduction strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans and assist clients during all phases of implementation.
  • Help drive and close new business, contributing to the growth of the firm.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required / Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Must have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • 7+ years of experience working directly with high-net-worth individual clients with assets exceeding $3M, advising them on financial, investment, tax, insurance, retirement, trust, and estate planning and advisory, to meet their long-term investment and financial goals, with a strong emphasis on tax reduction strategies.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial and estate planning-related work acquired from a reputable wealth management firm or professional financial services company.
  • 7+ years of experience in wealth management.
  • Strong expertise in financial, investment, tax, insurance, retirement, trust, estate, and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis.
  • Must be dedicated to growing the firm through onboarding new clients, while providing a very high level of service and advice to existing clients.
  • Strong proficiency with advanced wealth management techniques in all facets of financial, investments, insurance, retirement, taxes, trust, and estate planning with a strong emphasis on tax saving strategies.
  • Strong background in business development and consulting, including helping grow a wealth management firm.
  • Unquestioned commitment to integrity in all personal and professional activities.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-opportunity business environment.
  • Self-starter by nature with excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage heavy workloads and projects simultaneously, many on a time-sensitive basis.
  • Ability to interact with a tight-knit team of professionals with a wide range of financial and tax activities.
