Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Engineer located in Gaithersburg, MD. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the design, evaluation, and analysis of complex civil and structural systems. This includes the preparation of technical reports, cost estimates, and construction documents. The Structural Engineer will also coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors on projects and ensure that they meet all applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in structural engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license prefered
• Strong technical knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations
• Experience with structural analysis and design software (e.g. STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with construction administration and project management is a plus
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and/or BIM is must
• Recent graduates with Masters in Structural engineerin with EIT may apply
