Lead Mechanical Engineer

Position: Full time

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Metric Geo is working with one of the largest engineering firms in the world who's currently hiring for a Lead Mechanical Engineer. This position has excellent career progression opportunities. The role consists of overseeing mechanical design, contributing to strategic planning of the firm's direction & associated goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the "Engineer on Record"
• Regular collaboration with current mechanical department head and office director
• Lead & Coordinate meetings
• Leadership of staffing, hiring, employee reviews, goal-setting, training/development, and general group personnel-related concerns alongside other technical leaders

Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ relevant mechanical design experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• LEED AP accreditation strongly preferred
• Bachelors’ degree in mechanical engineering
• Revit and AutoCAD
