These inventory techs play a vital part in guaranteeing that the right supplies and equipment are readily available when needed, contributing to the overall efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality of care provided to patients in emergencies. Their commitment to this role is instrumental in the success of EMS operations and, ultimately, in saving lives and promoting better outcomes for individuals in distress.Key Position Details:0.5 FTE (40 hours per two-week period)10-hour day/evening/night shiftEvery other weekend rotationLocal 167-represented, benefit-eligible positionJob Description:Prepares vehicles and equipment for service by cleaning, stocking and testing. Maintains inventory of vehicles and equipment and performs trouble shooting.Principle ResponsibilitiesPrepares vehicles for service.Prepares bags and bins with supplies and equipment.Stocks vehicles.Cleans and disinfects vehicles and equipment for service.Maintains inventory.Assigns vehicles and equipment.Performs basic vehicle trouble shooting.Calibrates equipment for deployment and reports deficiencies.Maintains work area.Cleans, sweeps, mops and disinfects garage.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsMust be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job descriptionPreferred Qualifications High school diploma or GEDLicenses/CertificationsValid Driver's License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employmentPhysical DemandsMedium Work:Lifting weightUp to 50 lbs. occasionally, Up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay RangePay Range: $19.54 to $27.84 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
