What You Will Do
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing electrical projects, a strong understanding of building electrical systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design. This role involves leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with standards, and delivering high-quality results that meet client expectations. Key responsibilities include:
Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and implement solutions to address any challenges or delays.
Building Electrical Systems Design
- Design and analyze electrical systems for industrial buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct load calculations, system layouts, and feasibility studies.
AutoCAD Drafting and Documentation:
- Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including specifications, reports, and as-built drawings.
- Update and revise designs based on project changes and feedback.
Presenting and Collaboration
- Provide and communicate technical information and engineering recommendations.
- Guide less experienced engineers and technicians.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years' experience in field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year, a plus.
- Proven experience managing electrical projects in the building systems sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and practices (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time both domestic and internationally

- The expected annual base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
