Job Summary:

Plant Engineering Manager located near Junction City, KS for a growing industrial manufacturing company. This role is responsible for defining, maintaining, and supporting the manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is ideal)
• 5+ years leading an engineering team within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge in CAD systems
• Experience with hands-on experience involving CAPEX projects within a manufacturing facility

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for defining, maintaining, and supporting the manufacturing processes
• Planning, designing, and overseeing projects, as well as managing finances and supervising the plant engineering team
• coordinate the integration of material processing equipment to ensure a safe and cost-effective manufacturing process.
• Supervise daily routines within the process engineering group
• Check the engineering team's work for technical accuracy and detail.
• Manage and direct all plant engineering activities, cost analysis, coordinate and evaluate all quotation activity.
• Evaluates manufacturing processes for product performance, work force utilization, space requirements, and layout of equipment and workspace for maximum productivity.
• Oversees capital project installation/implementation to ensure machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors (required)
