Mainly Baskets Home is a family owned design company specializing in high design rattan and wicker home furnishings and decor. Founded in 1977, MBH has evolved from baskets & decor, into the go-to source for handwoven furnishings. The majority of our clients are high end designers working in both residential and commercial spaces. We offer custom design in addition to our classic line, catering to clients all over the world.
Currently seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to join our leadership team. This exciting position is both creative and analytical and requires someone with a strong business acumen who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and be a part of a small business wearing many hats. The right person for us has a proven record in driving sales through data driven marketing.
This is a highly demanding role, where you’ll be expected to handle strategy, execution, and adaptation in real time in all responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This position is responsible in partnership with the Operations Manager of overseeing and empowering the growth of the MBH team to deliver on the day to day functions, management and operations of MBH team in our Marietta office and warehouse.
Key Position Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
· Assist CEO in the rebranding of company utilizing outsourced partner (project in progress)
· Develop, own, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy based on sales data, customer segments, new product introductions and industry trends
· Collaborate with company leadership to meet revenue goals and consistently exceed client expectations
· Create clarity and vision for all MBH activities through direct and consistent leadership
· Consistently drive the MBH team forward against strategic goals and tasks, effectively reprioritizing as necessary to complete to ensure the team’s and company’s success
· Drive top-line profitable revenue growth by developing pricing, promotional, and sales strategies that align with customer demands
Sales
· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of customer service sales team (current team of two), ensuring high performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
· Develop and execute strategic Sales KPIs that foster growth in key market and product categories
· Develop sales forecasts based on historical data for sales and inventory planning
· Analyze market sales and assign territories to sales & customer service reps to maximize coverage and sales potential
· Design and implement streamlined sales processes
· Provide collateral and campaigns to support key accounts and sales opportunities
· Set realistic sales quotas for individual customer service sales reps
· Evaluate, implement and manage Netsuite CRM
· Collaborate with customer service sales team to develop training materials
Marketing
· Oversee all marketing channels, including email campaigns, social media, b2b/b2c website, and paid advertising
· Identify and manage emerging marketing channels (ie. Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube)
· Track and enhance traffic and conversions on website
· Develop PR and communications strategies
· Establish and manage annual marketing plan and associated calendars
· Lead the production of high-quality content for marketing promotions, product launches, sales presentations, e-commerce, and customer engagement
· Manage external vendors, agencies, and creative partners to deliver on project goals
· Track and report on key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and ensure alignment with business goal
· Serve as the primary liaison between all departments to ensure alignment on messaging, priorities, and goals, as well as updates on available assets
New Product Launches
· Provide input to product development and manage New Product Roadmaps based on evaluation of market and industry trends
· Assist and support product design as an interface between stakeholders including leadership, operations, designers, factories and logistics
· Manage all timelines and lead project meetings/calls
· Drive marketing efforts for product launches, ensuring all materials (e.g., packaging updates, sales sheets, advertising assets) are created and delivered on time
· Align launch strategies with trade show and channel requirements
Trade Shows
· Set creative direction of each trade show and devise all floor plans
· Manage reliable network of vendors, partners and sponsorships for each showroom
· Oversee the development of trade show and sales advertising and collateral
· Organize / participate in trade shows and industry events to showcase products and expand client base
· Attend key industry events as needed
· Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing strategies to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and enhance brand presence across the U.S.
· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

Professional & Personal Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Proven sales, business development, or marketing experience, preferably in the furniture and décor industry.
· Exceptional communication, demonstrating clarity and conciseness.

Must Have Experience
· 5+ years in a marketing role with a proven track record of driving sales
· 3-5+ years of experience in b2b; home furnishings is a major plus
· Experience in sales forecasting and pipeline management
· Experience with CRM tools (Netsuite, Salesforce or similar)
