Summary: Maintains patient flow, coordinates patient treatment throughout their program while serving as a resource for medical staff
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Ensures flow of patient care in the clinic.
? Supervises and serves as a resource for medical assistants.
? Monitors orientation and onboarding of all medical staff.
? Completes and audit patient charts.
? Takes and records temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate.
? Gives medication as directed by Physician and makes notation of amount and time given.
? Oversee or Administers intravenous injections.
? Oversee or Performs phlebotomy.
? Order inventory on a weekly basis.
? Coordinates patient care throughout their treatment program.
? Communicates with outside medical offices (Physical Therapy, Primary Care, Pharmacy, etc.).
? Completes administrative paperwork (FMLA forms, disability forms, work notes, etc.).
? Participates in Improvement of Operational Performance (IOP) activities.
? Participates in traditional and e-learning programs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in the science of nursing or equivalent
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATH ABILITY:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing and system software.
