Senior Social Media Manager

We’re looking for the right Senior Social Media Manager to propel Pink Ribbon Good forward as a national organization by growing our social media following and engagement. This individual will not only build overall brand awareness, but directly reduce the isolation felt by so many after a cancer diagnosis as their work will inform thousands, if not millions, of the incredible peer support programs we offer.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy Development: Create, implement, analyze and optimize the strategy needed to grow our social media following by 30% in 2025.
- Leadership: Develop the Social Media Coordinator’s skill set and work to make everyone around you better.
- Collaboration & Storytelling: Work with influencers, business partners, those receiving our services and the entire PRG Team to develop engaging content to share the unforgettable stories that happen every day at PRG.
- Trend Watching: Identify potential trends that could be a good fit for PRG’s brand and respond accordingly.
- Data & Reporting: Monitor what’s working and what’s not to determine if the strategy needs to be adjusted in order to reach the defined goals. Report on the overall progress of the social media strategy monthly to leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of professional Social Media Manager experience, influencer marketing experience a plus
- Portfolio of work ready to share to demonstrate experience with launching a variety of performance driven social initiatives
- Expert on social media platforms and the algorithms they employ
- Excellent storyteller with strong written, spoken and visual communication skills and an eye for design
- Experience leading and developing teams and building collaborative environments
- Strong analytical skills to spot trends and identify areas for improvement
- Have a passion for the PRG Mission.
Work Environment:
This is a full time position with hours 9am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, working out of our headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. Some nights and weekends may be required to gather content at larger events.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.
