Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Must-Haves
- Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.
- Associate’s or Baccalaureate degree in Nuclear Medicine.
- Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or active NMTCB (CNMT) certification.
- Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain the state license.
- College transcript verification will be required for candidates invited to interview.
Job Responsibilities
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will:
- Perform clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures, including general and cardiac studies, as well as manage computer interactions associated with these studies.
- Provide clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, standards, objectives, and quality assurance for the Nuclear Medicine department.
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Call rotation details: Every 12 days:
- Weekends: 24-hour coverage (e.g., 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday).
- Weeknights: 14-hour coverage (e.g., 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.).
- Call pay provided for carrying a pager, with overtime and shift differentials if called in.
- Work scheduled hours: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (no weekends except for call coverage).
