Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Performance Ortho is a New Jersey based comprehensive, orthopedic, outpatient organization with 3 clinic locations, an Ambulatory Surgery Center, and corporate headquarters in Bridgewater. Now in our 24th year, our vision is one of continued growth as we set to open our 4th clinic this spring.
Position Mission
Improve our patients’ quality of life through accurate, timely, and effective support in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal system disorders.
Position Objectives
- Support the Physical Therapist and Rehab team in their assessment and treatment of new and returning patients
- Help reduce pain and restore healthy function within the scope of a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Engage patients in their recovery journey and motivate them to achieve their health goals
- Collaborate seamlessly with the provider team to ensure excellent patient care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PTA practices and innovations
- Reinforce organizational values in all patient interactions
Key Responsibilities
- Engage patients in their treatment plans to support their return to musculoskeletal health
- Perform assessments such as testing strength, motor skills, sensory perception, and other physical functions, recording the data accurately
- Assist in implementing tailored physical therapy programs to alleviate pain, improve function, and prevent dysfunction
- Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress to maximize outcomes
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records for each visit
- Administer therapeutic exercises, massage, or traction to relieve pain and enhance physical capabilities
- Collaborate with the provider team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
- Participate in additional projects as directed by leadership

Education and Experience Required
- Current State of New Jersey Physical Therapy Assistant license
- 1-3 years of experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
