Job Title: RN House Supervisor

Location: Alturas, CA

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Alternating Weekends

Position Overview:

Pride Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to join our healthcare team. This is a 36-hour per week, 13-week contract position offering guaranteed hours. This is an excellent opportunity for nursing professionals looking to provide high-quality patient care and work in a dynamic long-term care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the Director of Nursing (DON) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) personnel.
  • Supervise nursing activities, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to physician orders and hospital practices.
  • Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and overtime. Assist with hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions in coordination with DON/CNO.
  • Conduct staff evaluations and assist with recruitment.
  • Help develop policies and procedures and stay updated on changes in accreditation and licensing requirements.
  • Manage the SNF nursing budget.
  • Maintain positive relationships with medical staff, administration, and other hospital departments.
  • Assist with the orientation and education of new nursing staff.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure : CA Licensed RN and active CPR certification.
  • Experience : Three to five years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with direct personnel management preferred. Prior experience in long-term care is beneficial.
  • Skills : Proficient in English (both verbal and written), and skilled with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Personal Qualities : Dependable, organized, reliable with good attendance. Able to relate well with staff and residents.
