Power BI is a critical component of the Dynamics 365 platform that is being used to support the Business Development team. We need a Power BI expert who can communicate and collaborate with both internal functional/business customers and technical development teams to ensure best practices are implemented on data models, dashboards, and reporting.
Skills:
•Demonstrated experience with building a variety of analytical products using Power BI
•Demonstrated experience with taking business requirements for analysis and translating those into actionable, technical designs for analytical products, and breaking those designs into discrete tasks
•Demonstrated ability to build and modify Power BI semantic models
•Demonstrated success building analytical products that are adopted into operations
•Demonstrated experience demoing analytical products to stakeholders
•Demonstrated understanding of data modelling best practices
•Demonstrated experience with analytics UIUX best practices
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Demonstrated experience with querying languages such as SQL and DAX
•Demonstrated experience communicating data modelling needs to developers and product owners
•Demonstrated ability to teach less experienced users how to use Power BI
•Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross functional teams across geographical locations
•Demonstrated experience using data analytics to drive improved decision making
•Experience working in a fast-paced, iterative/changing environment
•Experience identifying a business problem/process, solutioning, and managing it to closure
