Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our marketing team as a part-time team member. This individual will play a key role in rewriting and optimizing content across our website, blogs, and other digital channels to better align with our brand voice, improve user experience, and drive engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing for tech industries, with an ability to simplify complex concepts and make them accessible and compelling to a wide range of audiences.
The candidate will be able to review current textual content, reduce content and work with internal Digital Marketing Teams on SEO adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Content Rewriting:

• Revise and update existing website copy to reduce text on page, improve clarity, tone, and SEO performance.
• Ensure consistency and alignment of brand messaging across all web pages.
• Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure content is well-integrated into the website's user experience.

Blog Content Creation:

• Write, rewrite, and optimize blog posts on various topics related to technology, IT staffing/consulting, generative AI/AI Services, Software Testing and Automation, and other industry trends.
• Develop engaging content that appeals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Research trending topics, keywords, and SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings.

Other Content Needs:

• Rewrite or create content for case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, and other digital marketing materials.
• Ensure all content is consistent with V2Soft's tone, voice, and brand guidelines.

Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical information and translate it into clear, concise, and engaging written content.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter, preferably with experience in the tech, IT consulting, or software industry.
• Strong portfolio of writing samples, particularly blog posts, website copy, and other digital content.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them in an accessible, engaging, and concise manner.
• Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML.
• Strong research skills and ability to generate ideas for relevant, audience-focused content.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in writing technical content, blogs, social media, etc.
• Basic understanding of CMS tools (WordPress)
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and content strategy.
