Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Verification of insurance benefits
  • Maintaining cash drawer
  • Registering out patients
  • Communicating effectively with hospital, clinic staff and manager
  • Collecting point of service payments
  • Assist staff with filing, mailing statements
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Work as a team player
  • Assist patients and/or patient's family with questions or concerns in a professional manor.
  • Preparing daily deposits
Education and/or WorkExperience Requirements:
  • Communicates effectively with patients of all ages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel and outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of business office policies and procedures
