Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Verification of insurance benefits
- Maintaining cash drawer
- Registering out patients
- Communicating effectively with hospital, clinic staff and manager
- Collecting point of service payments
- Assist staff with filing, mailing statements
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Work as a team player
- Assist patients and/or patient's family with questions or concerns in a professional manor.
- Preparing daily deposits
Education and/or WorkExperience Requirements: - Communicates effectively with patients of all ages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel and outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of business office policies and procedures
