Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (Preferred: Thousand Oaks, CA)
Compensation: Negotiable
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to drive sales and provide technical expertise in the aerospace, defense, and medical device industries. Have to have aerospace, defense experience though.
This is a full-time, remote position with a strong preference for candidates located in Thousand Oaks, CA or North of LA/Santa Barbara.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within missile, aircraft, and medical device industries.
- Understand and communicate complex technical requirements to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support to drive sales.
- Work independently while collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s presence in key markets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Required).
- 10-15 years of outside sales experience.
- Industry experience in missile systems, aircraft components, or medical devices (Preferred).
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with customers in the Los Angeles area is a strong plus and may qualify for additional incentives.
Pay Range: Negotiable
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
