IT Sales - Business Development
Salary 60k base, expected to make 120k - 140k all in.
Our client is a well-established and respected Managed Service Provider (MSP) with a 25-year history of providing exceptional IT solutions to businesses. Responsibilities:
- Hunt for new business : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within a defined territory. Utilize various strategies including networking, cold calling, referrals, and online lead generation to connect with potential clients.
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline : Cultivate and nurture leads through the sales cycle. Accurately forecast sales, maintain a healthy pipeline, and consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Present and promote our services : Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating the value proposition of our client's MSP solutions to prospective clients.
- Develop proposals and close deals : Prepare customized proposals and negotiate contracts that meet client needs and align with company objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships : Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and support.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in IT sales, specifically in a hunter/producer role with experience selling services and/or hardware.
- Experience selling to businesses with 20-300 knowledge workers.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, including managed services, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and network management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a "hunter" mentality.
