Director, National Accounts
Our client is a global leader in manufacturing safety products that service healthcare, hospitality and food solutions. They are seeking to hire a National Accounts Director responsible for building and establishing key national account relationships and securing contracts. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and development, manage client relationships and promote growth and support revenue generation.
Role reports to an office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead national account sales efforts to meet revenue targets and profitability
- Formulate and execute a national account strategy aligned with overall business initiatives and goals
- Identify key accounts and ensure the strategy supports short and long-term objectives
- Lead negotiations for complex contracts, pricing models, and terms that align with client needs while achieving company goals
- Oversee the implementation and execution of contracts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Establish and maintain relationships with decision-makers
- Point of contact for clients; addressing needs proactively and positioning the company as a trusted partner
- Analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategies to stay ahead of competition
- Collaborate with product development, marketing and other teams to ensure client needs are met with tailored solutions
- Provide insights from client feedback to inform product and service enhancements, maintain competitive edge and support strategy adjustments
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing issues and concerns and work to resolve challenges and improve service quality
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min.10-15 years National Accounts experience
- Experience selling within the hospitality, food service and/or healthcare industries preferred
- Experience developing national accounts and brands
- Experience driving revenue growth in large, complex accounts
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to travel as needed
Offering:
- Base Salary $150,000 - $200,000 (based on experience)
