Occupational Therapist (Pediatrics) - Danville, VA Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our pediatric therapy team in
Danville, VA . This role offers the opportunity to work in a

The ideal candidate will be passionate about pediatric therapy, skilled in evaluating and treating developmental and sensory-motor challenges, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities - Evaluate and assess children's functional abilities, sensory processing, and motor skills to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients in a clinic setting, using evidence-based practices to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and overall independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, physical therapists, educators, and families, to ensure a comprehensive approach to therapy.
- Educate and train parents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercises to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Document and maintain accurate records , progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy through professional development opportunities.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and community outreach to enhance the clinic's mission and services.

Qualifications - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current OT licensure in the state of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates with a passion for working with children are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and implement creative and engaging therapy sessions.
