We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Clinical Coordinator to lead and manage the operations of our state-of-the-art freestanding Emergency Room (ER). Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and coordinate the nursing team to provide high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care in the freestanding ER.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including state, federal, and accrediting agencies.
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource management to meet operational needs.
Provide direct leadership in patient care delivery, collaborating with physicians, support staff, and administration.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and team cohesion.
Manage quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, and outcomes monitoring.
Ensure proper training and orientation of new staff members.
Participate in developing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
Maintain budgetary oversight, ensuring effective use of resources and cost control.
Handle conflict resolution, patient/family concerns, and operational challenges effectively.
Stay current with advancements in ER nursing practice and healthcare technologies.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) with active state licensure.
BSN required; MSN or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols, best practices, and regulatory standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a high-performing team.
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required (or ability to obtain).
