Hiawatha HomeCare has immediate opportunities for compassionate nurses to provide 1:1 care for 2 different clients, located in Red Wing!
*Requirements:*
* Adult client looking for casual day &/or evening coverage. Eves are generally 6p-10p.
* Pediatric client looking for a nurse to attend school with her, as well as ride transportation with her before & after school. Hours are 7:10a - 4:15p.
* Must have an active RN or LPN license in Minnesota.
* No experience necessary! Will train the right candidate!
*Position Summary:*
* Provide meaningful 1:1 care to a client with complex medical needs
* Part-time & PRN hours are available.
*Pay:*
* Registered Nurse (RN): $32.00 - $40.25 per hour (DOE)
* Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $25.00 - 31.00 per hour (DOE)
*Core Responsibilities:*
* Provides home care nursing in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
* Reports significant changes in the client's condition to the family, RN Clinical Manager, & physician.
* Obtains physician orders for changing client care needs.
* Maintains accurate & current plan of care, physician's orders, and medication profile for the client.
* Charts cares thoroughly & accurately during shift.
* Provides advice & support to clients & their families.

Karen Seifert founded Hiawatha HomeCare in 1988, but it was the birth of her son, Michael, that inspired the birth of Hiawatha HomeCare. Michael was Hiawatha's first client.
In 2023, Michael passed away after a brief illness. Michael's memory will be forever woven into the fabric of our agency, and his story serves as a daily reminder of the power of "Home Care from the Heart."
