*Site Reliability Engineer*

A leader in fully digital banking and financial services is seeking junior Site Reliability Engineers to sustain and deploy critical applications and automate deployment and data gathering processes for critical apps. *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*

* Explore numerous applications to understand functionality and make recommendations to ensure best practices are followed with clean and secure code, automations, and deployments.
* Write scripts to automate app deployments and enhance business and technical processes by reducing human error.
* Create and enhance DevOps procedures by automating processes and pairing with DevOps engineers.
* Assist in migrating several applications into the newly implemented AWS cloud environment.



*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or related field; OR relevant boot-camp and work experience
* Must have basic Java development experience, and ideally understand XML, DBMS’s, HTML, JavaScript, and the Agile SDLC.
* Python scripting experience, ideally used to write automation scripts.
* Strong background in SQL/relational database proficiency.
* Bonus: any experience with or understanding of Linux, Unix, application monitoring, Splunk.
