We are seeking an attentive and knowledgeable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to be the *Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) *to assist in ensuring the nursing department provides attentive and efficient care to patients and help oversee the overall operations of our AMAZING skilled nursing facility. The ADON ( LPN/RN) will assist with the planning, organizing, and implementation of nursing procedures and projects as well as ensuring overall compliance.

*Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) LPN / RN include:*
* Supervising all nursing staff
* Maintaining high standards of care for all patients
* Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
* Communicating with doctors, patients and family members about patient health
* Recruiting, training and onboarding new nursing staff
* Providing ongoing education classes
* Implementing new procedures and training Nurses on policies

*Qualifications for Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) LPN / RN:*
* Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in MO
* Active CPR certification
* Experience in a Skilled nursing facility or similar setting required
* Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare
* Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration
* Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
* Great communication and people skills
* Outstanding organizational and stress management skills
* Aptitude in problem-solving
