Select Physical Therapy is seeking a per diem (PRN) occupational hand therapist for our outpatient orthopedic clinic in San Rafael, CA. Our clinics are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post-surgical cases, to non-operative conditions, to work conditioning. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other clinicians and therapists. Hourly rate starting at: $52.00 per hour up to $65.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
Schedule needs include:
Coverage as needed on a week by week basis
(Mon-Fri: No Weekends)
Must be able to work independently
We offer access to our locally hosted CEU accrediting courses for our per diem/ PRN clinicians.
Responsibilities:
Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how occupational therapists may practice and whom occupational therapists may supervise.
Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom occupational therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of occupational therapy
Valid State Occupational Therapy License required
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or within 1 year eligibility to sit for CHT exam
