· Specialty hospital for medically complex patients
· Pulmonary and Vapotherm Center of Excellence
· Staff consists of all Registered Respiratory Therapist, 65% BSN or above RN’s, Current staff certifications include CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC
· Onsite BSN completion program partnership with South University with staff discounted rate
· Simulation Lab and Clinical Transition Pilot Program
· Free prep courses for national certifications
· Robust atmosphere for Clinicals - partnerships with multiple nursing, pharmacy, therapy and respiratory schools.
· Preceptorship and residencies for Respiratory and Nursing

The role you’ll contribute:

The Speech Pathologist provides self-directed, effective therapy to patients in accordance with Florida Speech Pathology Association standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 486.021 (S): “Speech Pathologist means a person who is licensed and who practices speech therapy in accordance with this chapter.

* · Collection of comprehensive data pertinent to the patients’ health or situation.
* · Performs consults as indicated from database collection
* · Analyzes the assessment data to determine course of treatment.
* · Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation.

Qualifications - External

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· Current license of Speech Language Pathologist in Florida or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement
· Valid BCLS or completion within 90 days of hire.
· Graduate of an accredited Speech Pathology School / Master’s Degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.50 - $54.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
