*Job Overview*

* Perform clinical procedures including venipuncture, suturing, catheterization, and other advanced nursing techniques.
* Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery and improve patient outcomes.
* Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth for documentation and patient management.
* Stay updated on the latest clinical guidelines and best practices related to ICD-9 coding and other relevant standards.

*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles.
* Proficiency in clinical procedures including venipuncture, suturing, catheterization, and pain management techniques.
* Experience with medication administration protocols.
* Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Athenahealth.
* Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Strong critical thinking skills to assess complex patient situations and make informed decisions.
