School Psychologist Position Job Description:

Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Perform psychological and educational assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for interventions.

Provide Counseling and Support: Offer individual and group counseling services to students to address academic, social, and emotional issues. Work with students to develop coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.

Consult with Educators and Parents: Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to create supportive educational environments. Provide guidance on classroom management techniques, behavioral interventions, and strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.

Develop and Implement Programs: Design and implement programs to promote positive mental health, prevent bullying, and address issues such as substance abuse. Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff, students, and parents on various psychological and educational topics.

School Psychologist Job Qualifications:

Master's degree in School Psychology.
Active Illinois Psych license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
Experience providing virtual therapy services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fast/reliable computer & internet speed.

Pay & Benefits:

1099 Position
Guaranteed Weekly Hours
Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours ($40-50/hr depending on district budget/candidate experience)

Interview Process:

10 - 15 minute screening call with a VocoVision Recruiter.
20 - 30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District.
Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
