*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Interventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech) to join our healthcare team.

*Duties*
* Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist

* Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines

* The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases

* The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist.

* • The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures

* Strong communication skills using closed loop communication

* The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load

* Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons

* Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system

* Groin management post intervention

* Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment.

*Requirements*
* BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures

* Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state ( defined in above JD.)

* This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

* 3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
