*GHR Healthcare *is currently hiring a *Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)* for an Internal Medicine Practice in Columbus, OH.

*Schedule:*
* Monday through Friday
* 8 AM to 5 PM

*Pay Rate:*
* $24 - $26/hour

*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Greet members in the waiting room, establish rapport.
* Take vitals, perform appropriate social, behavioral, and medical age and condition-based screenings (e.g., point of care testing, EKG, spirometry, and eye exam).
* Update patient information
* Data entry
* Schedule appointments
* Set a visit agenda with the member and provide warm handoff to the provider.
* Assist the provider with exams and minor office procedures
* Phlebotomy and administer vaccines
* Review the after-visit summary with the member and ensure understanding through communication tools like teach-back and closing the loop.
* Perform pre-visit planning to ensure high quality provider visits.
* Coordinate services to complete primary care provider action plan tasks.

*Minimum Qualifications*
* Certified or Registered Medical Assistant required.
* 3+ years of MA experience
* X-ray experience required
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* CPR training & certification.
