General Information:
Beds: 10 LD beds; 4 OB ED (Triage beds); 4 Antepartum rooms
Will you accept a traveler with 1 year experience? 2 years LD experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types:
We see all types of pregnant patients in our labor and delivery. We have the only Level 3 NICU in a 350-mile radius, so we accept patients with almost any kind of risk factor or complication. We care for high-risk all the way down to low-intervention laboring patients. Antepartum, OB triage/ED, postpartum, and infants
Patient Ratios:
Antepartum: 1:3
Inactive Labor: 1:2
Active Labor: 1:1
Postpartum/Couplet care: 1:3 couplets
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
Required: BLS, NRP
Preferred: ACLS, certification in inpatient obstetrics, electronic fetal monitoring, or inpatient antepartum
Skills required:
Must care for couplets
Would love a candidate with Level 2 nursery baby experience
IV starts, cervical checks, phlebotomy, magnesium sulfate, blood administration, insulin, circulate C-sections, C-section recovery care
